Q: Does Latitude affect Cloudiness?

Latitude vs. Cloud Cover
A: The data is not compelling.
There does not appear to be much of a correlation between cloud cover and latitude. The line of regression in each hemisphere does slope upward toward zero latitude, which suggests that cloud cover tends to increase near the equator. However the lines are almost horizontal, denoting a very subtle trend. On top of that, the r2 value is very weak meaning any noticeable slope can be ignored as coincidence.
