There is no strong correlation between humidity and latitude. The lines of regression on either hemisphere are nearly horizontal, meaning there is no change as latitude changes. In fact, one line slops upward toward zero latitude while the other slopes updward away from zero latitude. If humidity were related to latitude, the same behavior should be mirrored on either side of the equator.
